My first day of vacation
Why do I get the feeling that I'm more excited about being done with school than the boys are? :~)
My todo list this week is packed with things I want to get done before we leave on Friday. I'm already regretting that our family reunion will be so short. Two full days plus a bit of Friday evening and Monday morning. I'm so excited to get to see some of my very best friends in the world (my three siblings). And to get to spend some time with 3 year old Eleanor and the three baby nephews, none of whom I've ever seen in person. And to present my little doll to her extended family. I'm even looking forward to our 11-plus hour car trip each way, because I love road trips and feel rather deprived.

Hi, I found out the same thing when teaching, that teachers definitely do-at least I did more than when a kid, though I liked school a lot.
